Booking terms & conditions

The following terms & conditions apply when you book accommodation or an accommodation package* via www.orebrotown.com or Örebrokompaniet

*Accommodation Package or Örebro Package refers to the package offers of accommodation plus an event/activity listed here.
Booking fee
When booking an Örebro Package via our call centre on +46 19-21 21 21, there is a booking fee of SEK 150. There is no booking fee for bookings made via www.orebrotown.com.

The purchase/booking is binding
The purchase/booking is binding as soon as it is confirmed by the seller on the phone or by e-mail, irrespective of whether payment has been made.

Payment
When booking just a hotel/accommodation, full payment is due at the hotel at the time of arrival or departure. The credit card details that you submit with your booking are taken simply to guarantee your booking with the hotel and to cover the hotel in the event that you fail to turn up or do not cancel your room in time. Your credit card details are submitted over a secure and encrypted connection.

When booking an Örebro Package* online, full payment is taken at the time of booking and only by credit/debit card. Payment is made over a secure and encrypted connection. When booking an Örebro Package* through the Örebrokompaniet call centre, tel. +46 19-21 21 21, payment is made via a secure link in the confirmation e-mail that is sent to you. Payment must be made immediately after the time of booking, otherwise your booking may be cancelled.

Booking confirmation
When you receive your booking confirmation by e-mail, you need to print it out and take it with you to the hotel. Any vouchers sent with the confirmation must also be printed out and taken with you to the venue/event organiser.

Changing a booking
An administrative fee of SEK 100 per booking is charged each time you make a change to a booking.

Cancellation rules
Cancellations must be made verbally by calling Örebrokompaniet on tel. +46 19-21 21 21. Note that your cancellation is not valid until you have received a written confirmation, which will be sent to the e-mail address that you gave when making your booking.

Cancellation of a hotel/accommodation booking must be made by 5 pm on the day before arrival. If you cancel later than 5 pm on the day before your arrival, or if you fail to show up, your credit/debit card will be charged in full for the cost of the first night.
If you are prevented from travelling at short notice and outside office hours, you can cancel your hotel booking by contacting the hotel directly, but you must also contact us at Örebrokompaniet as soon as possible to inform us that this is what you have done.

A refund cannot be guaranteed if the cancellation is made directly with the hotel without informing us.

Cancellation of an Örebro Package* may be made up until 5 pm on the day before arrival. A cancellation fee of SEK 100 will be charged for cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival, and if the package includes event tickets the price of these will also be charged in full.

A cancellation fee of SEK 200 will be charged for cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, and if the package includes event tickets the price of these will also be charged in full. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after 5 pm on the day before arrival — the cost will be charged in full. Booked event tickets CANNOT be cancelled and refunded. The full cost of the tickets will always be charged in the event of a cancellation.

If you are prevented from attending due to sudden unforeseen circumstances, we at Örebrokompaniet will try our best to help you change your package to another date for an amendment fee. If you need to do this, call us as soon as possible on tel. +46 19-21 21 21.
